Description:
Ultima Bank Minnesota is offering five $2,000 scholarships to the 2024 graduating seniors in the communities we serve. UBM has six branch locations: Winger, Fosston, Plummer, Bemidji, East Grand Forks and Gary.
Eligibility:
Student must be a graduating senior who is enrolled at Bagley, Bemidji, Clearbrook-Gonvick, Crookston, East Grand Forks, Fertile-Beltrami, Fisher, Fosston, Goodridge, Grygla, Mahnomen, Norman County East, Red Lake County Central, Riverside Christian, Ulen/Hitterdal, Waubun/Ogema or Win-E-Mac schools and planning on attending a post-secondary school, including two-year and vocational programs. (Note: Children of UBM employees or it’s Board of Directors are not eligible to apply.)
Requirements:
- Cover page must include your full name, school name, school phone number, personal phone number and email address.
- Please include a resume highlighting your plans for your future career, your path to achieve your future career, activities, jobs, groups/clubs, volunteer work, etc., and GPA.
- Also include a letter of reference from someone you respect, with an introduction from you explaining why you respect them (no relatives please).
- The essay portion must be a minimum of 2 pages, single-spaced with standard margin, excluding the cover page and the letter of reference with your introduction; please number/initial each page of your application (example: 1 of 6 jjs)
- All pages must be submitted as one PDF file via e-mail to: ultimascholarship@ultimabank.com
Interview:
The top 7 applicants will be contacted for an interview at the UBM location nearest you. If you cannot make it to one of our locations, with good reason, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
